Who We are
ABOUT US
Badlaav Foundation is a Non Profit Organization based out of Dehradun. We actively work towards creating awareness about various issues faced by our children in shelter homes. Every big thing there is, started small. The inception of Badlaav Foundation wasn’t just a thought but a feeling of shared responsibility. We are defined by the choices that we make and only we are accountable for its outcome.
We saw something that bothered us and we took a 100% responsibility of it, because we ‘Believe’ in the power of #Changefromwithin. This is precisely how the Badlaav Foundation came into existence.
Since December 2018, plenty of changemakers have joined our cause. We have undertook various initiatives for the welfare of children in shelter home and have been actively working towards uplifting their lives with a pinch of harmony, a tablespoon of support and loads of love. Our motive was to bring the world to them. Little did we know, we became the world for them.

Vision
Badlaav Foundation intends to build a healthy and safe environment for the children in need of care and protection staying in Child Care Institutes to help them nurture their dreams and lead a life with dignity and well-being.

The FSFL Project (Foundation Skills and Fundamental Learning) focuses on basic education that is often missed and ignored in traditional education systems. Foundational Skills & Fundamental Learnings Program
FSFL is an initiative taken by Badlaav Foundation to bridge the gap between curriculum completion and actual learning of the kids at schools. Children in shelter homes struggle for the bare minimum in their day-today lives. Thus, getting a good education remains a blur hope.
Badlaav Foundation stands firm in providing quality education to the kids in shelter homes, and with the FSFL project, we have taken a step forward. FSFL stands for Foundational Skills and Fundamental Learning.
Foundational Skills: We try to cultivate basic life skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, communication skills, creative thinking, self-awareness, and empathy in our kids through various activities and games. It aids their growth as human beings, which is undeniably an expected outcome of education.
Fundamental Learning: We also focus on their learning of academic concepts. The goal is to create a friendly and interactive learning environment for our kids to break the hesitance that often hinders their learning process.

We finally could set up indoor game facilities for our kids!
Rakshabandhan 2021 brought smiles and a small success to the Badlaav Family.
The role of sports and games in shaping a child’s life is known to all.
Our new shelter lacks an open space for the kids to get some play, and thus, we aimed to build an indoor one. And with your support, we succeeded!
We also bought a washing machine for our kids. They were in dire need of one to ease off their daily chores.
We are very grateful for all the support, and we wish and hope the same in our journey ahead.
Christmas Celebrations
With your support, Christmas 2021 became an overwhelming experience for our kids. The candle of kindness lit by you had brightened up many faded smiles.
The pandemic had left our kids in despair.
But with your helping hand, we managed to conduct some fun activities for them. As intended, we succeeded in cheering them up!
And nothing would have been possible without you, the changemakers.
Day Outing
It took us 3 years to provide them such a beautiful outing but trust us, it was all worth it.
Worth the wait. Worth the efforts. Worth every amount you all contributed. Worth everything.

👉🏻 More than 100% of kids tried their hands on Adventure Activities for the first time.
👉🏻 100% of kids want to take part in such Experiential Activities again.

Badlaav Foundation is a not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization working to build a healthy and safe environment for the children in need of care and protection staying in Child Care Institutes to help them nurture their dreams and lead a life with dignity and well-being.
Badlaav Foundation is registered as a trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 and has been granted 12A certification by the Income Tax Department, which exempts all donations made to the organization from income tax.
Additionally, Badlaav Foundation has a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) certificate, which allows corporations to donate to the organization as part of their CSR initiatives. Donors can avail of tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act for their donations to Badlaav Foundation.
